Anyone tied a bed cooling system?

I had my first hot flush last week and can’t sleep as I am just too hot. So I booked an appointment at the GP and turned to the internet to see if I can throw my money at the problem, and found a bed cooling system. It has brilliant reviews on Amazon.com.

has anyone tried this or similar? And has it helped??

I want the eight sleep but I need to work more to get that and it’s too hot.

Not sure on that model but friend of mine bought an actual waterbed in the 80's and the floorboards collapsed in the night and she went down into the kitchen of flat below

I’ve got a tower fan, and ‘chillows’. The chillow is a gel filled thin mat you are supposed to put in your pillow. The pressure of your head makes it cool, you don’t have to put it in the fridge or anything. I have a couple of them and lie on them. They do warm up after a while but they are pretty cooling. Had a quick look at the bedjet and couldn’t work out how it actually works (tbf didn’t read very closely) but it’s 400 euros plus there would be customs duties from NL probably.

How is that related at all?!

Well I actually spoke to the op and she did mention a waterbed was a possibility so that's why I posted

No, you haven’t spoken to me @ShakyBake.

I sleep with a frozen hot water bottle much cheaper and lasts longer than those gel mats which I seem to turn back into hot water bottles in the night! 🤣 also a shark fan the cheap £89 one both those together seem to do the trick and my house is a sauna at the best of times x

We’ve looked at these, but the ones we found were very pricey.
my partner is an electrician and he has made himself something very similar to this - https://www.henleyfan.com/shop/bfan/

Thanks @bitmiffed26. The bedjet seems similar to this.
