Plenvu and colonoscopy help?

Sorry one last question - I've prepared the Plenvu in 500 ml litres and I'm sat here stirring it for the better part of 15 mintues but it's not at all clear! The bits are all dissolved but it's more of a cloudy colour, like bitter lemon, is that alright? Can't seem to reach the ward to check.

I've had several operations prevoiusly but for some reason this one has me absolutely petrified!

My Dh has taken this quite a bit over the years can’t remember it ever being clear as long as it’s dissolved is the main thing, good luck it won’t be nearly as bad as you think💐

As long as you’ve got the right amount of water the colour seems right, it’s cloudy, you’ve stirred it well so time to just drink it. Take your phone or a book into the loo, the taste is awful but the process itself is not as bad as you’re probably imagining. The colonoscopy is also quick - are you having twilight sedation?

This will be me in a couple of weeks - I’ve always had Picolax before which isn’t a big deal to get down but I’ve read a lot on here over the years about the other stuff that needs a bit more help 😖

I’ve definitely read on here that having it ice cold helps, and alternating with a straw between that and lemonade or something else nice tasting.

Ice cold, use a straw and have something else to alternate with.

Some people prefer sipping- I preferred several big fast gulps through the straw and then a mouthful of alternative before I gagged too much- I think sips would have taken me too long.

It’s foul but it ends.

Update: I’ve had the first round, it tasted extremely salty to me, drank it over an hour alternated with sips of dilute lemon cordial. Had another 500ml of dilute apple juice after. Started at 6:10 pm, finished an hour later, and tummy rumbling started half an hour after. Now it feels like I’m having a massive wee from my bum so I reckon cloudy but dissolved Plenvu is alright 😬

I want to ask, can you add stuff eg squash to the Plenvu or is it not advised?

Thank you everyone, it went well today and colon was clean! @GreenShady they said not to mix squash with the plenvu but have squad in a separate container and alternate sips.
