Is there a way not to use AI in Google?

Every time I Google anything I get an AI answer.

Whilst I use AI in ways that are valuable to me, in view if the water consumption involved, I'd prefer to only use it when I specifically choose to do so rather than every time I Google anything. Is there a way to switch this off?

It has occurred to me I could ask AI 😆

I believe you can put -ai at the end of your search to suppress it.

Yes, put -AI at the end of your query.

someone told me that if you use the f word in your query it won't use ai but I have no idea whether it's true. I might go and try it!

It's rubbish, just tried it and it doesn't work.

You can use duckduckgo which gives you the option not to use their A.I I personally love it and it helps to stop your apps stealing data as well. It's all free, it's really good and I wish I had gotten it years ago.

Type either -u or -ai at the start of your search.

I stopped using Google when they introduced this and use ecosia instead. They claim to plant trees to off set energy use. There is an AI option but I don't use it.

It used to be true! Gutted they changed it.

I use Ecosia too.
