Book suggestions for nearly 11 year old

My ten/nearly 11 year old is a bit meh about The Subtle Knife so looking for his next big read… He loved Lord of The Rings, Dexter Procter and the Percy Jacksons… and was quite keen on Swallows and Amazons, The Magician’s Nephew. I was wondering about Agatha Christie?
