Got a few health issues. Mainly too much thyroid. Mt GP is trying so sort them. Ove got sude effects such as breathless i'm having tests in medication. One of the tests is an e c g

Because of this, I've now developed health anxiety, and I'm terrified at the ECG series, which I know it isn't because when it was done, they were talking to the specialist and the specialists said, it's not a serious matter. So I get the results in a few days time, but I can't help worrying.

I have never suffered from health anxiety before

I have health anxiety too. I would suggest feel the emotion, allow it to pass through your body. You control your emotion, do not let your emotion control you. It is completely natural to feel anxious. Nothing is wrong with you. It is normal and very common. However, if the health anxiety is having a negative affect on you then speak to your Gp Doctor about getting counselling for your health anxiety. Wishing you well. 🌱🍀☘️🌿

I was the same, suffered horrifically. What helped me so much was when the thought came into my head ask yourself ‘is this fact or a what if’ if it’s a what if literally say out loud ‘ no thank you’ and do something to distract yourself. I found the adult colouring books to be the best. It stops the spiralling and teaches your brain you’re actually safe.
the noise isn’t so loud for me anymore. ❤️
