Vinted - not picking up order

I had to send an item back on as it wasnt as described, its been sat at pick up point 3 days now. What happens if they don't pick it up. Do I still get my money back?

I did, and got the item sent back to me weeks after. I didnt want it the first time!

Ive had a dress sent to me I didn’t order.

went to parcel shop to get a parcel the lady said “oh there’s another one for you? I said I haven’t ordered anything else but she handed it over it’s EVRI so no signature or code and it’s got a vinted label on printed with my name - to my regular parcel point, but I didn’t order it - checked vinted incase the kids had clicked on it but no which is very strange x

Dont really want it back lol, sent it back because it was a fake since ordered the actual copy on amazon

I've had both of the above scenarios happen to me too recently. I returned a parcel as an item was missing and they'd sent me another item instead. The seller accepted fault and told me to return it. I did but they didn't pick it up and it came back to me. I raised it with Vinted and I did get a refund eventually but only for the item which was originally missing.

I've also just had the other situation where I went to pick up a parcel and there was 2 in my name. The second barcode wouldn't scan as it said it had already been collected that's when the man at the post office realised the 2 parcels had exactly the same label on. I said which one I didn't think was mine and he gave me the one which was mine but clearly the same label had been printed twice and stuck on two different parcels by mistake. I just let the seller know and they figured out which parcel it was and who it should have gone to.

Glad the parcels got to who they should have done.
What do I do if the person dosent collect the parcel, wish I reported as fake like I should have done in the first place

The parcel will probably just get returned to you if they don't pick it up. That's what happened to me - bit annoying as it was items I didn't really need/want and the item I did want was still missing 🤦🏼‍♀️. But then I just raised it with Vinted and they did resolve it (kind of) and I got a refund it just took a couple of weeks.

Do i automatically get a refund if they dont pick it up? I figured out it was an counterfeit item so didnt want it. The seller pretty much begged for me not to report it as a fake item so didnt. If they dont pick up can I report the profile as say it was fake then? I have no proof unless its returned to me again otherwise

I don't know if you automatically get a refund. The parcel came back to me and I had to then raise it with Vinted who then wanted to look into it and contact the seller themselves. Once they did all that they did issue the refund so I doubt it would have automatically been refunded. But I think the parcel will automatically return to you if they haven't collected it. So then you should have your proof if you need it.

Sounds so much hassle, never had this issue before. Its literally because it was a fake that I returned it, she said she got it off ebay so didnt know it was fake. If she doesn't pick it up I'm tempted to report her and mention she sent a fake item. She asked me not to say it was fake and because I'm one of these that hate effecting people on a negative way I didnt mention it. Wish I did now
