Hi, I’m planning a trip to Manchester for a few days next week and just looking for some fun things to do with a 12 & 9 year old?

Thanks

I went with my teen last year and started a thread asking for suggestions- you might be able to find it if you search. We enjoyed the Pankhurst House - small but DD interested in the suffragettes so was worth a look. We also liked the People’s History Museum which focussed on the social history of Manchester. We did a self guided walking tour (based on pirates) to get our bearings on the first day . This was recommended on my thread and we’ve since done them in other cities. We also went to Afflecks Palace for a mooch, partly to relive my student days but DD liked some of the shops
