Ninja blender motor burnout

I have had two Ninja blenders inthe past few years - one was a very simple model bought in 2016. It lasted me about 5 years, but the motor went. Started smelling of that electrical fire smell, when I saw actual smoke I binned it.

My second was a bit fancier - one of the Foodi blenders/food processor type. I have used it a lot, for simple smoothies, to hummus, soup, grinding peppercorns - everything, Recently I have started to notice the burning electrics smell - which is a bit disappointing - as i have had it just 3 years, and it cost me £180 (from Costco).

Has anyone else had similar issues with this brand? I don't want to have to start hunting for a new blender/processor just yet. It's clearly out of warranty now.

There's a Facebook group that might have some useful advice: https://www.facebook.com/groups/862112901211773/

I know with kitchen aids you are supposed to service them and replace the grease (on YouTube if anyone needs to, dead simple). So perhaps you are supposed to do this with ninja blenders also?

No - you can't really access any parts.

I had issue with debris getting stuck inside the handle - impossible to take it apart to clean..

Thanks though for the reply
