Which food company would you go for?

A good friend is nursing her mother through her final weeks at the moment.

I don't live nearby, so I'd like to get a big box of good-quality, healthy meals delivered to her that can be kept in the freezer and easily heated up; take one thing off her list of tasks, at least.

Ideally just one big box rather than a regular subscription.

Any recommendations? I was looking at Stocked but have heard they're not the best value for money...

I’d do ‘Cook’ meals. Really seem homemade and nice if maybe a bit expensive.

Also that’s such a lovely thing to do x

I second ‘Cook’. They are not cheap but nice tasty food and a wide range of dishes.

It's nice thought but maybe the last thing she wants is to deal with getting a delivery of a large box of meals that she then has to squeeze into the freezer, dispose of the box etc etc. You're just giving her more tasks to do. She may not even be that hungry but if she is I'm sure she's got herself sorted with the kind of things she fancies eating.

Dont, whatever you do, use Parsley Box! Disgusting (in my very humble opinion).

Thanks @Beansandbats and @somekindof, I'll check out Cook – had seen mixed reviews online but it sounds like a good option. @DilemmaDelilah noted – thanks for the warning! Will avoid!

@EverMissWicklowSometimes that's quite the story you've invented😉I've known her for 20 years and we speak daily. I'm confident I have a good idea of what she's 'sorted' with and what's feeling overwhelming at the moment. If you have any suggestions for which company to go with, they'd be most welcome!
