Their wheels don't function as wheels, don't necessarily even turn, the cars slide around on normal floor and need the TootToot branded track to give the appearance of proper rolling movement. They aren't heavy enough to reach the bottoms of the slides in the TootToot garage without a push halfway. They tell me facts I don't care to know. The racing car goes on about taking it in turns to be at the front of the race, "wait my turn, wait my turn" which is an unrealistic attitude for a racing car. If I had my time again I would invest in the IKEA garage with the simple ramp and the heavy bottomed wooden vehicles with proper wheels, rather than the bounty of TootToot crap I got my son for his 1st birthday thinking I was doing the right thing.
