Do we think next week's heatwave will be the final one of the year?

I know it's not the whole country. But for people affected.
Trying to make myself feel better by thinking this could be the last one of this year. Do you think so?

I hope so. I don’t mind the heat but we desperately need rain in south east England.

I hope so as hate the heat I really struggle but no I think we could have another after this

I just really need it to stay at least nicely hot the week after next as we are finally getting a holiday at the coast.
I've been in and out of hospital all year and it's been absolutely rubbish. Haven't been able to enjoy the non-heatwave, heatwave days (if that makes sense!) so just a few days of mid twenties would be perfect!

I don’t see any reason why it would be, sorry. We’ve had endless heat and no rain for two months, with occasional peaks and lulls. I am assuming it will carry on now until September October, when it starts to cool for winter. And then it will rain. 😕

It feels hard to remember now that we had that non stop rain this winter, that went on for months didn't it.

I don't think the heatwaves will go on until September, my guess is that it will all come to an end suddenly. But that could be just wishful thinking.
