Broken phone screen three weeks after replacement

I'm so pissed off. I had the screen protector in my bag to put on and just haven't done it.
Had the phone in my pocket and somehow something has hit against the screen. I now have a pink line down my phone.

Im such a fucking idiot.

That’s annoying, especially as you had the protector ready. What’s done is done though. When you have the screen replaced this time put the protector straight on and try to remember this as a lesson about putting off tasks.

Sounds like an expensive lesson learnt. That said, I’ve never had a screen protector on any of my phones and none of have ever had damaged screens despite being dropped a bazillion times - what are you doing to them?!

It was literally in my pocket. I've no idea, nothing else was in my pocket and I've a back cover on it

Depending on the type of phone it shouldn't be super expensive to replace... Also if you do have a habit of breaking phones (you mention this one's a replacement) maybe explore a bank account that has phone insurance attached to it (Monzo does one for pretty cheap and I think most banks haven't them)

Thank you.
The screen was a replacement, literally did it a month ago
