My boy died on Wednesday. He was 18. Is anyone around? I can’t sleep.

He was autistic and troubled, he lived in supported accommodation. They found him on Wednesday morning, sitting on his bedroom floor. No one knows exactly when he died or how. He was alive at 01:13. He was dead at 10:30.
He had 3 younger siblings - all young teens living at home with me. I have to stay strong for them and I don’t know how I’m going to do it.

My DD died 13 years ago, it will be the hardest thing you will live through and at times you just cant imagine surviving it but you will. Grief has stages that interchange. I had therapy, not at first I was too distressed but I recommend it. I agree about staying together for your children as hard as it is it gives you a focus. I had to for my DS who was close to 13.

Im so sorry for your loss. My sister went through this and they just had to club together. The teens slept in her bed a while. It wont getneasier in that sense but will get less numb xx please get something from gp during this time x
