If you could move to any other place in the UK…

… where would you choose?

I’m from the SE but would love eventually to move to the West Country, maybe Wiltshire/Somerset border. Beautiful countryside and not too far from connections! Already planning my retirement…

I’ve literally just moved unexpectedly from Kent to Dorset. Wow what a difference. Not overcrowded, lots of roads I’ve been on are in good repair compared to Kent which is continuous pot holes, no gangs of feral kids/teens congregating and causing trouble, I feel safe walking around. Some of the villages are beautiful, Salisbury is lovely. I can get a same day GP appointment, people are friendly. Not keen on Yeovil personally and I know there are great and not so great areas everywhere but so far nothing I can think of in Kent would make me go back. You should do it.

Either Yorkshire, the coast of Cornwall or the Lancashire coast.

I was recently in Suffolk and was impressed with the roads and lack of potholes - when we crossed into Essex briefly you immediately saw the difference! Bury St Edmunds was a revelation, what a lovely place, though having that awful A14 road going through it would put me off living there.

I liked Worcester - well connected and nearish to Birmingham airport.
