You’re on your work friend’s hen. Turns out her cousin/auntie/pal from uni is a celeb you’ve always liked and thought would be good value on a night out. Who is it?

I’m going with Sharon Horgan. Partly influenced by her characters, admittedly, but she’d hopefully also lend me something cracking to wear.

Not as famous but I did meet Tracey-Ann Oberman once briefly through a mutual friend and she was brilliant. I think she’d be fab on a hen do.

Oh and just seen someone said Mel Giedroyc. I love her and always think I’d get on with her really well. As long as she didn’t give me her hair brownies (or was it flapjack?) she’d be my top choice. AND Jonathan Bailey.

One more.., (I may be over-invested)… Saoirse Ronan! I think she’d be nice, would let her hair down but wouldn’t dominate. Much as I love Joanne McNally (as an pp suggested) and find her really hilarious, I think I’d be a bit intimidated by her if I met her on a hen do! I reckon Saoirse Ronan would be fun enough without scaring the bejeezus out of me…

I thought at first Victoria Coren Mitchell and then other names got thrown into the hat and I can’t choose only one. Hannah Fry would be a hoot, I love Lucy Worsley but think Alice Roberts might be more fun after a few bevvies - just can’t choose so I’d have to have them both, Sheryl Cooper (wife of Alice) would have some cracking stories to tell, and Stevie Nicks just because she is my style icon. I might just have to invite them all 🤷‍♀️

Oooooo, and someone has just mentioned Celia Imrie. How could I have forgotten Celia! Definitely on my list.
