Anyone been to Centre Parcs over New Year and is it special

Just wondering anyone has been to Center parcs over NY and is there anything special about it?

We went to whinfell a few years ago. On nye, the sports plaza was transformed into a huge party venue with tressle tables throughout and music. You booked a place at a table - that was all you got for your money - entry! We hated it, was loud and impersonal and expensive. They had fireworks at midnight which were nice. Nyd was nice, we did the new year mile walk at 9am then had a roast dinner in our lodge in the afternoon. I wouldn’t pay to go again.

Hmm I read they don't do fireworks due to the animals on site.
I can imagine the party on the plaza would have been hell!
I'm not sure what I'm wanting but I do like Whinfell and feel like NY on the cosy pool would be great!
