Best brunette shampoo???

I have my very dark hair coloured...just have growth at roots have an organic colour and my hairdresser suggested inbetween colouring to use a shampoo for dark brown hair just to colour the odd few hairs do that Im not back for another colour earlier than usual.

Do you use yours for the same reason? What do you recommend?

Anyone?

Is it to cover grey? If so, Plantur. It’s utilitarian but effective.

I don't dye mine but have a few greys in dark brown hair. I use the darkest of these and it tones the greys right down to a light brown colour. I wash with normal shampoo then use this in place of conditioner and leave on for a few mins. I only need about a teaspoon at a time for shoulder length hair so a bottle
lasts. It is messy but has never stained my hands, shower curtain etc. Takes a few uses to build the effect.

Yes. I don’t dye my hair anymore because it covers my grey enough.

I have a pixie crop with an undercut on a number 1 (at the longest!) I am currently colouring that undercut once a week! I like the planter be any good for the ‘undercut greys or does it take a while to develop?

I think it will tone down the grey, it's worth a try.

@AlphaApple wow I might try that as my hair colour on my short hair is costing me over £100 each time!!

It’s not as good as dying your hair obviously but saves the £ and the faff and your roots don’t grow out. I have a decent smattering of grey hair that’s blended out enough to stand mild scrutiny.
