Because I've definitely forgotten something.

Dirty laundry bag

Imodium instant

SummitWrong · 03/08/2026 21:04

A decent sized mug. Hate those piddly-ass cups!

Laffytaffy93 · 03/08/2026 21:07

A few plastic bags, they often come in handy for dirty/wet clothes to stop them making everything else in your back wet. Or as shopping bags. Or for shoes. Or for sitting on. The list is endless!!

Imodium instant

This wins.

Simonjt · 03/08/2026 21:13

Hairbrush, we both forgot one on a recent holiday so we used a dinglehopper until we could buy one from a shop.

TulipsMakeMeHappy · 03/08/2026 21:18

One of those strap things that keep your sunglasses on while you are swimming (or makes them float if they come off...)
A photo of your passport(s) and your travel insurance phone number. If you are going with someone else then swap , and also have a safe (possibly paper) recording of the number to cancel/block your credit and debit cards in case they are stolen.
A travel SIM if you need one.

NatWestPigFamily · 03/08/2026 21:21

I just got back from holiday, would recommend some cold and flu medicine, strepsils, eye and ear drops, really good waterproof plasters, bug spray and antibacterial wipes, and a couple of universal plugs for the sinks or bath!

Surely baths and sinks have their own plugs?

Yes, you would think they would, but 2 sinks with no plugs and no plug in the bath either.
