I’ve had my kitchen redone and think it looks pretty amazing. On my weekly team call I moved from my home office and positioned my laptop in the kitchen so my lovely new DIY Kitchen cabinets, hanging lampshades and Rangemaster all just happened to be in view. When the compliments on my kitchen poured in I pretended to be surprised my colleagues could see it (“oh I thought I’d blurred my background”) and then said in an offhand voice that yeah, I’d had a bit of work done.
Pathetic I know but these little things get me through the day😂
