Has anyone seen the new Spider-Man Movie?

My DS is 6 1/2 and keeps going on about seeing it but I’m reluctant with it being a 12A.
I’m not concerned about the length of the film just the content and if it would be suitable?
Would appreciate others thoughts/feeback on it?

We saw it at the weekend. I think my overriding thought for a 6 year old is that they might find it too long and too boring. It’s quite an adult storyline compared to the previous ones and there isn’t as much humour and action. I can’t comment on the content being scary etc as I saw it with dh and dc aged 14 so wasn’t watching with younger kids in mind but we all definitely found it a bit long and boring in places, despite loving the previous films.

Has he seen the others or other marvel films? If not they might not make much sense to him. I haven’t seen it yet but if it follows the themes of other Marvel films I’d say it will have some fighting and maybe some scary villains

It’s no scarier than previous Spider-Man films. There’s one scene where he’s changing into a suit in a room with a woman and it gets misinterpreted, but I’m sure any reference to sex will go over the head of a six year old. I don’t remember any bad language.

He may have watched one or two at home but probably not the whole film, so sounds like he might be a bit lost with the story??

He finds the characters exciting, like SpiderMan, Hulk etc.
I think I’ll go with my gut and not bother this time.
