Day out with older dc of different ages

Is it possible? We live in the south west (Somerset). Dc are aged 20 to 12 and the younger 2 have autism/learning disabilities. Most of the summer holidays we are taking them out separately but it would be really nice to take them all out somewhere just once over the summer holidays.

But anything the younger ones will like, the older ones say is boring. And everything my older 2 like, my youngest can't cope with (queues etc). Any ideas?

Bowling? Picnic near local beauty spot/woods with a few games of rounders or something?

Beach? Do they swim?

to be honest at 18/20 mine wouldn’t have been seen with me.

Cheddar caves or Wookey hole caves. Take a picnic make a day of it.

That is a tricky balance. I'd probably look for somewhere with plenty of open space, a café and different activities, so everyone can do their own thing for a while and then meet up for lunch. It might not be everyone's perfect day, but you still get to enjoy it together.

Do the older ones want to do things all together have you asked them. Mine just did their own thing from around 14/15 I didn't organise anything for them. They did it themselves with their friends.

Thankyou. Wookey hole and cheddar gorge have already been vetoed by the older 2. 18 year old is quite keen on going to brean theme park. The only thing they can all agree on is the all you can eat Chinese!

What about somewhere like Doncaster dome or a more local equivalent
swimming, ice skating, bowling, food and there is a shopping outlet nearby too.
