Affordable smart jacket ideas to wear with dresses for work

Starting a new job and trying to find some jackets that would go with dresses. Looking for something that’s smarter than a cardigan but not super-smart like a blazer if that makes sense! I’m plus-size and on a budget. Any recommendations?

I work in a smart office not in London. Most people do not wear jackets but usually have one to hand if we have to meet external clients or higher managers.
This is the kind of thing I have to hand but mostly from a charity shop.
