If I didn’t like “Matilda” and “School of Rock”, but normally do love musicals, will I like Paddington?!

I love most musicals but these are two exceptions I can think of. Everyone is raving about Paddington but as a middle aged woman with no kids, is it likely to not be my cup of tea?!

Did you like Paddington as a child have you seen the films? I think Paddington is nostalgia and kindness driven I can't wait to see it, i don't have young children to take, but 1 of my adult DC would come with me.

Fwiw i hate Matilda it is really irritating I watched the musical film on TV im glad I didn't waste money on it.

Matilda is really for kids/family market so I get why you wouldn’t like it, I saw the original Stratford run and it went down well with the kids who were kids at that point. I personally would stick to productions not aimed at children myself, I often choose plays as they have less disruption, fed up with people singing along in musicals!
