Weeping after sex???

The last few times DH and I have had a shag, I’ve started weeping. I look at him and feel an overwhelming sense of love and admiration for him and gratitude for our life together. Is this a perimenopausal hormone thing? I’m nearly 45 and I’ve got a Mirena coil so I haven’t any idea whether I’m having periods. Anyone else??

It’s happened to me before, haven’t got a clue why, just very emotional, this was way before the menopause. Like you I have a beautiful loving happy relationship, 🤗

I hav3 after intense orgasms. Makes men panic, if they've not experienced it from me before, and I try to explain nothing is wrong, quite the opposite!

Yep, I have this with DP. With a flood of oxytocin come the tears of joy that I love and am loved.

Yes I’ve had this, it was transient and wasn’t reflecting my feelings as I loved him then as much as I do now - it was probably 20 plus years ago and we’re still together. I put it down to hormones and some stress i was going through with work / studies

I have before yes, unless it's every time, the only people who would be weirded out by this are self-involved people who presume it's a reflection on them. If you are happy in your relationship, it might be caused by happy tears?
