Can I take antibiotics and D Manoose together?

Currently have nitrofurantoin for UTI.
I bought D Manoose in Holland and Barrett.

Can I take them together?

I did with no difference. D-mannose isn’t an anti biotic

Yes you can, D Mannose is a supplement and not an antibiotic.

DD’ gynaecologist told her she can although it doesn’t make a huge difference. Nitrofurantoin is a good medicine and if it works for you then you start getting some relief after 2 doses. If you keep getting worse then it is not the right antibiotic for you.

D Mannose is just a form of simple sugar…. It’s in food. It won’t affect antibiotics in any way.
