Is it normal to feel scared of eating after weight loss?

I have lost just under 5 stone. I don't follow it through. But calories have been lower than they should be. But I feel scared of eating. I get paranoid that I will put it all back on. I'm not under weight. As I said i wouldn't follow through with it. But does anyone else feel simlar? Is it normal. I'm thinking i can't be the only one.

This feels like it's stepping into eating disorder territory...

Wouldn't that only be if followed through? Isn't feeling that way different to taking action. I thought lots of people would feel like it. Just not say it out loud.

What do you mean, you won't follow it through?

Common - yes. Normal - no.

I’m the same, not fixed by a long shot basically. Slim but not gained control of what makes me over eat. What can you do? I’ve tried everything. I basically never stop exercising and think about everything that I eat in order to remain slim. It’s not healthy and I know that but I don’t what to be fat again.

I mean its not something I'm intending to do.

I don't think it's necessarily stepping into eating disorder territory.
It's normal to worry about putting on weight if you suddenly stop dieting . You kind of have no sense of what's normal eating anymore because you've been watching what you eat for a long time.
It's just a question of finding roughly what's the amount of food you can eat and stay at the weight you are. Presumably if you carry on eating as you are, you will continue to lose weight.
Maybe increase a little at a time and when you realise that you are not putting on more weight/losing at a slower rate , you know that's roughly what you should be eating/ need to eat a bit more to stay stable. Obviously increasing /decreasing exercise will have an impact.
