Vote only, if we can. Following Community arguments tonight. No need for comments. Just a vote.

Is this for real?!

Tryagain26 · 28/07/2026 20:23

Why are you asking the question?
It's not a matter of opinion.
Do you seriously not know? If so watch the news or try Google

ItsStillWork · 28/07/2026 20:24

I can imagine people not knowing as the UK changes prime ministers like we change our knickers.

Nousernameideaaga · 28/07/2026 20:24

I don’t understand the question

Do you mean who actually is the prime minister or who do we wish was prime minister?

ImpatientlyWaitingForSummer · 28/07/2026 20:24

Are you asking because you don’t know or because you want to see if other people know?!

LlynTegid · 28/07/2026 20:24

I expected Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk to be an option.

pinkdyno · 28/07/2026 20:24

I know. But was horrified at how many did not. So I was interested if it was a wider thing. Larger items of importance on news.

And how many did not?

Bjorkdidit · 28/07/2026 20:27

Am I missing a joke here?

Yes this. I was surprised how many had not seen the change. Not because they do not watch the news, but because rightly so they were more concerned about the wildfires.

they anticipated the change, but did not believe it had yet happened.

Yes, if there's anyone in the UK who doesn't know who the PM is, they will be able to talk in detail about the wildfires Hmm

Shinyhappyapple · 28/07/2026 20:31

TBF I doubt my son knows. Never watches the news unless it’s about sport or music.

Not everything has to be agro. no need to be so unkind.

it’s a genuine question.

I help out at a local group, mixed ages. Litter picking, community stuff. I overheard a discussion between a few and it made me think.

Months of posts about will be won’t he resign. On the news sites. Very little about the change.

people are busy, kids are on holiday, lots happening, and yes the fires are important to country folk.

I know someone who recently commented that we have a Pakistani PM! Turns out he meant Rishi Sunak Confused Y'know, the Indian-origin PM we had about three PMs ago!
