Has anyone bought anything that’s ‘only’ for sale through social media and been happy? I bought the foundation that was doing the rounds last year and looked like Casper the ghost. I keep seeing stuff but stopped myself!!

I’ve have been persuaded into buying a few things from TikTok shop, I don’t do Fb.
In the last 12 months I’ve bought (separate orders) 3 large, good value, planters, some magnesium of a brand I already buy off Amazon (but were cheaper on TT) a couple of cat toys, my cat’s dental plaque powder (again cheaper than the usual Amazon price), some foot dry skin treatment -that is actually very good, and a wire bristled weed scrubbing brush, which works really well.

Ive almost be tempted by the jeans/trousers for tall people I keep seeing, but I couldn’t be doing with the faff of returning, and it’s bad enough trying to get tall trousers by trying several pairs on in a shop these days.

I also bought some breath mints, but they have a horrible, over sweet, synthetic after taste, so I wouldn’t but any food items again. I saw loads of people selling huge bags of pick n mix but I just knew they were going to be cheap and horrible tasting, I’m not sure who would buy things like that tbh.

Anyway, so far so good, apart from the mints.
