Recommendations for baby and toddler trousers with shorter leg lengths

Does anyone have any brand recommendations for baby/toddler trousers that tend to be shorter in length?

My daughter is 1.5 and wearing size 12-18 comfortably, other than trousers being far too long for her, same in 9-12 and she's outgrown them around the waist and bum anyway!

I'm not great with sewing, otherwise I'd take them up.
There's the option of asking a seamstress, but if possible I'd rather buy some that actually fit.
I'd love any recommendations ☺️

Following, as my 18m granddaughter is a shorty but chunky...and the legs on everything are SO long. Luckily the weather means little dresses, shorts or shorty all in ones but Id love to find stuff that isn't meant for tall kids!

Her 5 year old brother is also very very short (less chunky tho!) and finding school trousers has been difficult! Everything seems to be made for tall children!

Not a brand recommendation, but it might be worth taking advantage of the summer range and buying cropped leggings/Capri trousers.

Uniqlo has some capri sized ones in lots of nice patterns. They work well for DD as they come to the top of her socks.

I should have thought about this - I'll get looking!

Yes, exactly the same as us! Same age and same issue - long back and short legs for my daughter.
We've got so many pairs of lovely trousers, but they're so long.
Our local seamstress charges £10 a pair for alterations, which adds a lot when you've already paid for clothes!

Get some of that iron on hemming tape.

You beat me to it, exactly what I thought @MagpiePi

Going back a bit but George at Asda used to have lots of elasticated waist ones. So you can pick the length that works for your child as the waist will adjust to them.
