What do you cook that makes you instantly feel cosy inside? Could be the smell of it cooking and the taste.
for me a good shepherds pie or stew with home made bread and lots of salted butter on the bread🥰

Daal is my go to comfort food. It really is like a hug in a bowl and is cheap, delicious and nutritious. My babies were all weaned on daal and rice and it's still what they want when they're feeling a bit under the weather!

Spag bol
Chicken soup with orzo
Ramen noodles with sesame oil, broccoli and tofu
Beef stew
Dippy eggs and soldiers

For me it's Ramen. It's filling without feeling heavy. It's comforting and warming. You can vary it in so many ways. I always feel good when I eat Ramen.

Are you outside England, @sodoffbeforemycupofcoff? The thought of cooking anything during summer is beyond my tolerance levels!

All my meals have been some variety of salad, wholefoods, fish that doesn’t need cooking for about the last three months.

I’m in England! I’m just longing for winter😂 but my jack (slow cooker!)
I think I am the only one who doesn’t find it unbearable (heat wise) everyone looks rather shocked when I do tell them what I’m making and when I mentioned being cold at times!

It's got to be homemade soup. I made roasted squash soup last night ( it's hot as balls but we had a thunder storm so it felt right!). It smelt amazing and tastes like a bowl of goodness and love 💕
