Alton towers in September?

What are the queues like? Thinking of taking my older 2 dc who are at uni before they go back but after the schools go back.

Went on one of the last few days of September 6-7 years ago, and the queues were fine. Not too bad at all. Not sure if it will be the same now, but if it's a school day it shouldn't be too bad.
