Moving (maybe) to Chelmsford

Hi Ladies, I'm thinking of moving from London to Chelmsford and any advice would be appreciated. Do I need to buy a car, which part of Chelmsford is best place to live? I don't need to be near any schools and I love to eat out and shop.

Chelmsford is a decent city OP. The town centre has a couple of cinemas, a ton of restaurants and chains. Plenty of buses, trains. There’s every type of housing, what sort of accommodation are you looking for?
