When our daughters children were 1,2 and 3 years old their dad left for another woman. (She dumped him later)
He never paid maintenance. He left his job. His parents were subsidising him.
He and they never wanted to see any of the children.
So daughter brought those children up and how well they have turned out.
All working while attending school/college. They are now 17,18,19.
On Saturday night daughter, daughter in law, me and a couple of cousins went out to the local pub.
DD and one cousin went outside for a smoke. They got talking to another lady who turns out to be friends with
the other woman. It turns out that whilst daughter was pregnant with her SECOND child her ex husband and his parents went to Spain for a long weekend and took the other woman with them. DD was told it was a stag do.
And again during the third pregnancy.
Ex's mum and dad were high up in there field of work. Think CEO and Doctor.
I can't believe that someone could do that to their grandchildren and their mum.
I suppose we should be grateful that they have never been involved with them for over 16 years.
The children have seen the dad and grandparents across the road but no one acknowledged them.
