There are lots and lots of different subjects you can post about. It doesn't just have to be about children.
The acronyms take a bit of getting use to but basically the D means dear so
DH dear husband
DW dear wife
DD dear daughter / dad
DP dear partner
Dss dear stepson
Dsd dear step daughter
And so on
Mil mother in law
Fil Father in law.

Don't derail other people's post .

Before you create a thread it's always worth searching to see if there is already a thread on the subject, esp with popular topics / something that is in the news.

For the love of everyones sanity read all the post on the thread before commenting.

If you really don't want to then at least have the decency to read all of the original posters post by click on the 'see next /all' on the bottom right of their posts.
You can post photos but they have to be verified by mnhq before they will appear this generally only takes a few minutes.
You can edit your post for a very short time once you have posted it , this is just so you can correct spelling mistakes or add a bit more info.
Once that time ( about a minute or two ) has passed you can not edit or delete your post so think carefully before posting anything
Do not use real names or tell people exactly where you are. , though letting them know the country your in or the rough location is fine if your looking for things like restaurant recommendations/ weather / pet sitters ect.
Mnhq will delete your msg if they feel its inappropriate but swearing and generally whinging is allowed as long as its not aimed at a particular poster.
You can report poster if you think it's not genuine or you are been attacked .
AIBU page can be a bit brutal, put your hard hat on before starting a thread on there !

Yes, but if the only thread on the topic hasn’t been posted on for months then it’s better to create a new one.
