UK holiday recommendations

We are getting a puppy next week which is exciting but we will be looking to go away in October half term in the UK. Does anybody have any recommendations for UK based holiday parks that have all the facilities and entertainment for a 6 year old, dog friendly and 4/5 star equivalent? We are going to centre parks at Christmas so something like that but not!

Sandy Balls in the New Forest, it's an Away Resorts park. If had good entertainment in the evening, activities in the day, the best lodges I've ever stayed in with a hot tub and a bath actually in the bedroom. It's in beautiful surroundings and I'm sure there were dogs allowed there.
