Which lessons would you book?

I'm going to do some improver swimming lessons.

I have two options. My closest pool which is a pleasant 25min walk from home. Or another which is a 15 minute drive.

The close pool has the lessons I need on a day of the week that means I will miss one from the block (6) I'll have paid for.

The other one, I could do them all.

They work out about £10 per lesson.

I usually use the close leisure centre for swimming and classes and enjoy the walk.

I’d go to the closest one because I’d also enjoy the walk

I’d do the ones where I could get to the whole course.

The one further away. It seems rather daft to intentionally book a class of 6 lessons when you know you would miss 1 of them before you'd even booked.

I would want to be able to do the whole course.

Can you move the thing which would make you miss one lesson?

The one where you wouldn’t miss a session. You could always walk to the closer one for a swim another day, but I wouldn’t book something just to miss a session when I could not, even if it meant a drive. It’s only 6 times, which is not really a big deal.

I don't know. The cost of the missed lessons is just under £10. Taking the car out unecessarily every week will cost me more than that?

I agree it seems stupid to book knowing I will miss one, but it also seems stupid not to book the one I can walk to.
