Sad news, only 7 weeks after the announcement of his cancer Kevin Keegan has died. Condolences to his family

Legend is over used in football but not for this man.

I've adored him for over forty years. My first crush.

Memories of when my big cousin copied his perm (his girlfriend was a trainee hairdresser) my very conservative aunt made him wear a hat for weeks!

Amazing player and his manager. Don't understand he was not made a Sir.

I don’t think people who didn’t live through the 70s/early 80s will realise how massive Kevin was. Footballer at some huge clubs , on adverts, captaincy of England. The impact he had was huge -EVERYONE knew who he was.

Hero for young lads, poster pin up for girls with that mass of dark Curley hair.
Husband supports Southampton-so adores Keegan. DD supports NUFC so I’ll have misery from both of them today.
And I won’t deny -I’ve shed a tear. It’s part of my childhood gone.
