Experience with mini pill desomono?
I have been prescribed this as I had been on.combined pill for a few years but suffering with severe migraines and the GP advised to change pill. My blood pressure was low on it and my headaches were constsnt

Anyone have any experience with this pill? Worried as I only bled every month with the combined pill once but heard that people bleed continuously on this pill

I switched into this from the combined pill in December and it’s been absolutely fine. I had what seemed like a “normal” period when I’d been on it for around one month and since then it’s just been the odd bit of spotting now and then and I think one other heavier bleed. I do find the lack of control over periods annoying compared to the combined pill but I’ve been fine on this one. They warned me that some people bleed continually but they said it’s a small minority. You could always switch to other contraception if you do find it happens to you.

Thank you yes i will miss the control of my periods and knowing when they are going to come with the combined pill
