The thread of teeny-tiny little wins

At the start of the year, I decided I wanted to get back into reading. I moved all of my reading onto Kindle to track it, and encourage me to be able to read on the go.

I’ve just hit 200 days of continuous reading in 2026, which means I’ve read every single day so far this year.

Some days it’s for five minutes on the bus, some days it’s an hour, but I’ve stuck to it and enjoying reading consistently again for the first time in years.

What little wins would you like to tell everyone about?

I love that OP! I want to get back into reading, I might try your approach.

My little win is that after a year of poor life choices as a result of burnout, I'm now off work and am exercising daily, etc.

Well that’s big, OP. Well done! When I saw the thread title I was expecting something like ‘I have managed to keep the kitchen work surface clutter free all week’.

I have also been successfully getting back to reading. I have always been a reader but I had ‘reader’s block’ for about a year. I managed to break the cycle about a month ago. I’m very pleased with myself.

I have also done a decent amount of decluttering.

That’s a pretty big win! Well done, it’s hard to get the motivation up, but really pays off.
