Mel C’s Wedding

She looks absolutely beautiful and really happy 💖

The rest of the SGs, however, are in really odd outfits.
Mel B just looks like she’s going clubbing - in benidorm.
Geri is wearing a dress she’s worn loads of time and it’s white.
Emma is in a really odd pink tartan suit that looks like something from kids TV in the 70s.
Vicks was at the world cup, but designed the beautiful dress.
SURELY they can all afford a better stylist?!

To be honest, I find it a bit sad that whenever women attend an event together, so much of the discussion immediately becomes about what they’re wearing and whether they “got it right”.
They’re all successful women in their own right, and if they felt comfortable in what they chose, that’s surely what matters. I can’t imagine we’d be dissecting a group of men at a wedding in quite the same way.
I think Mel C looked lovely too, but I don’t see why the others need to be judged against some unwritten standard of what they should have worn.

Spot on. It’s disappointing and tiresome.

Mel looked beautiful but I thought it a shame that her dress just looked like a too long nightie. She could have worn a stunning dress not that plain thing

I love that this is the first reply.

I long for the day when we stop tearing apart something as trivial as what a person wears through their own free choice. Or let's be honest, what women wear. Same shit, different century.

They all look very happy.

The photo of them all together is lovely.

Having seen the front (only seen the unflattering one Daily Fail published) she does look lovely but why oh why can’t Vic design anything other than a satin nightie every bloody design of hers is the same these days. At least Geri didn’t wear her usual all white out of respect for the bride,

Agreed. The VB satin nightie really doesn't suit everyone and just looks plain wrong in some situations (at Buckingham Palace for the knighthood ceremony). The bride looked lovely, but could have chosen a much more flattering dress, if she wasn't doing a favour for an old friend.

I think they all look great! The only outfit I dont like is Mel B's, she has a fabulous figure though.

ClaredeBear · 21/07/2026 11:39

Not exactly the edgiest outfits but they look good, it’s a lovely photo and they all look very happy.

Exactly doing a favour for an old friend one who she couldn’t be bothered to get on her private jet to attend her wedding would rather sit totally uninterested at a football match with a face like a slapped arse!

She looked great and he looks a dish. Lucky her! She was my favourite spice girl.
