Terrible gastritis caused by HPylori - how did you heal it?

Am so fed up.
Have taken second round of antibiotics.
Re test due this week.
Every other week I have a flare up.
It’s ruined my weekend again.
Please tell me this will end.

Sorry to hear this, my husband has similar issues also caused by h. pylori. He’s now on lansoprazole 30mg daily and it’s completely sorted him out. He also noticed caffeine was his main trigger so has cut that out and fingers crossed hasn’t had a further flare!

I was on omeprazole with the antibiotics but you have to stop to be tested again.
Am going to ask them to put me back on as soon as they’ve tested again.

Is your DH on it for a set time or just for a period, to let his gut heal?
