Random parcel

So yesterday the postman delivered a parcel, addressed to me. It was a home printed label. Inside were 3 items of clothing, all from Shein. None were my size.
The label on the packaging said Marketplace Seller. I use Vinted a lot, but not FB Marketplace.
I put the return address in Google Maps, and its come from Dudley in the W Midands. Can't check with FB, as I didnt buy anything in the 1st place.. just a bit puzzled!

The obvious explanation is that someone has out the wrong label on a parcel intended for someone else, have you bought anything recently? Are you sure it's not Amazon marketplace in which case it could be a brushing scam?

It is probably the brushing scam pp mentioned, i wouldn't worry about it just bin the stuff, i have had a parcel of rubbish sent from amazon before,

I do order on Amazon, but not on their marketplace, never ordered anything from FB Marketplace...sorry for being thick, but how does the scam work if I'm not actually buying anything?

Surely to put the wrong label on, I would have had to bought something in the 1st place?

As far as i can tell your details are sold 3rd party and a seller will send you samples .so you either go onto their amazon site and buy more or give a rating, it is so weird I can't see anybody doing it, you can complain to the selling site if you can find the online form, i had to search for it on amazon.

Well, it was 2 dresses with Shein labels, and a top from Quiz....
They've gone in the bin :)

It is just weird isn't it ? And a bit unnerving !
