How can I suggest a thread navigation improvement to Mumsnet HQ?

How do I put a suggestion to Mumsnet HQ?

When on a thread and I want to add a post, my post quite rightly goes at the end of the thread. But if I have got excited / outraged and not clicked bookmark before clicking add post I then have to faffle around trying to get back to the post I was on before I posted ...
I think the solution is bookmark then post?

@Missingducks You could post a thread about it in the Site Stuff topic, and/or you could email MN on [email protected] although there's no guarantee they will read or respond to either of those.

I don't think I've used the 'add post' button ever.

I just scroll to the bottom of the thread, add my post and then bookmark.

Normally when people get excited and rush straight to post, they just end up saying what the previous 50 posters have said so it's probably best to read the thread.

It’s incredibly poor etiquette to jump straight to ‘replying’ to one post mid-thread, @Missingducks.

You really, really need to Read The Full Thread before posting. By the time you get to the end, 97 people will already have posted your thought. And the OP will have divorced the man, sold the house, and moved to Australia - all detailed in the posts you’ve missed because you thought your post was the most important thing on the thread.

Please try to get into the (correct) spirit of intelligent conversation. Anything else is pointless here.

Agree, you should always RTFT before posting.
Its tedious to have posts that are no longer relevant because the thread has moved on.
