If you sell your DC’s old toys on Vinted, what do you do with the money?

If you clear out your DC’s rooms and sell the stuff they no longer use on Vinted, what do you do with the money you make? Do you give it to DC’s, put it in their savings account, use it to put towards days out during the holidays, spend it or save it for the household?

I sell their toys at car boot sales, Vinted sounds like too much faff, I give them 20 euros each and the rest goes on weekly food shopping and dinner money for the oldest.

Mostly clothes I sell rather than toys, but I use it to save for our next holiday.

I sold mine's at car boot sales and I used to give them the money.
Basically if they were saving for a new toy I would suggest selling some of their old toys at a boot sale and they would clear out some stuff, price it up and we'd do the sale together.

They were their toys they had received as gifts, so their money in my opinion.

More outgrown clothes than toys but I use the money to buy the next size up as it’s all Nike trousers now he wants to wear instead of Sainsburys own. He had a clear out of PlayStation games which he priced up & I sold on his behalf on there. He kept all the money he made (about £60) apart from my £5 fee for all the packing & me posting them for him. He thought that was a fair deal & wants to do it again this summer.

Spend them.
The children get new thkings all the time to replace the outgrown stuff.

I usually leave it in there as a Vinted balance and buy clothes in the next size up for DC

I normally re-spend on whatever the thing was I sold e.g. toys I'll put in a pot for Christmas/Birthday and just other treats throughout the year. Clothes gets spent on new clothes, books back on books.
