I don't think the RSPCA will be interested as they had dry food and water.
I just went to a house to view some kittens. They were listed on pets4homes.
I am absolutely disgusted by what I saw. The kittens were kept in the open hall, on a large cat tree.
The hall was absolutely filthy. Covered in pee and poo.
The house stunk. Everything from the walls to the doors was sticky.
They had dogs too which were locked away but were barking.
The kittens were absolutely CRAWLING with fleas. Absolutely infested. I was talking to the guy and they were crawling across the kittens faces.
They are an expensive breed and he was asking £500 each for them. The back of their necks, the white fur was black with flea shit.
They are long hair breed and they were matted and dirty.
He brought mum out and she was flea ridden too and TINY. He said she got caught 'earlier than they would have liked' but im pretty sure they only had mum so she was bred on purpose as they would have needed a stud of the same breed to produce these kittens.
I wish I would have said something but I was in shock and in a mans home that I didnt know. Dh was with me but we just wanted to get out of there.
I have reported him to the website.
I wish I would have taken photos :(
I can't go back to take them as I messaged him after to say he needs to take them to a vet because they looked extremely ill and need serious flea treatment
Anyone around Manchester know if something can be done??
