This means the urine is concentrated, and you will often get high specific gravity in the morning. You will see it also if she is a bit dehydrated. In isolation it isn't a problem.

I have to test for other reasons and bring my sample to a hospital clinic. They are never bothered about specific gravity. Hope your daughter is doing okay.

That’s reassuring to know. Thank you. She’s just been off the last couple of days and I’ve noticed her urine was dark so thought I’d by some of these, but I think it was a mistake with my anxiety and ocd lol might bin them

Yeah I'd get rid OP.

We were given some to use at home for a week after DC1 had been unwell. I kept the rest and use them at various times when I thought there was something going on with either of the DC. Caused quite a bit of needless worry, and then when DC2 actually did get a UTI it didn't show up on the damn things anyway!
