Family of 4 two toddlers and myself and husband are 30 y/o.
My husband has recently bought an existing business which is doing quite well but has a lot of potential.
It’s also involved a very large business loan so we’re not expecting to see real profits from 5years onwards.
We have a good savings net (£50k) and I work part time to be home with the kids mainly.
We are living comfortably not stressed about money BUT I can’t help but feel like we’re living in limbo until the business starts seeing results.
We want to buy our forever home in the future (our current home is small and completely taken over by the toddlers) and have a lot of plans to upgrade our quality of life.
I just want to ask how do I find happiness in the small moments whilst waiting for our big plans to come to life as I know it’s a few years away yet. It’s hard to know whether to focus on saving heavily or allowing myself to treat myself too.
