I joined PureGym this week and I'm looking at the different classes. This is my first time joining a gym but I do workout at home. Any recommendations to try first?

Also a gym newbie and have joined PureGym. Ours is brilliant and I’m so impressed with it for the price. So far I have done a couple of step classes at the weekend. Was fine but I found most of them seemed to know each other and the routines so I struggled to keep up!
Have you had your induction? That was useful. I did that and also booked the induction PT for an hour just to get familiar with some of the machines. Was well worth it.
The pure gym app is really good for suggested routines. I think I’ll stick with them rather than many classes as it’s more flexible.

I've been going to Pure Gym for some yeas now. I would suggest Strength, Sweat or Burn. Essentially these are circuit type classes where you can do as much or a a little as you choose within a time limit. The PT gives different weight options. My top tip is to just keep showing up even if like me you don't want to!

The only class I go to regularly is GLC. It targets the right bits for running. I find the gym pretty dull but I need to strength train or I get injured when running. Sigh.

I have attended most of them at some point though. It kind of depends who’s taking them as to how good they are.
