Anyone found the move to 7.5mg Mounjaro harder and more irritable?

Hi I've been on Mounjaro since April and have found the jump to 7.5 quite hard. Has anyone else felt very irritable?! Suppression is quite high so I'm quite tired too, hoping for some encouragement that I will adjust soon as summer holidays start in a week!

I wasn't irritable but I tried 7.5 for two weeks. My body disliked it. Went back down to 5 for 6 weeks and then went back up ton7.5 and was fine.

As you've been on the jabs since April have you transitioned up the doses too quick? It took me 12 months to get to 7.5

I tried 7.5mg for a month and think it's too much for me, I've gone back down to 5mg. Also now starting to struggle with sleep so hoping that gets better soon. First dose of 5mg was Sunday. I started in April on a relatively low BMI (27) and am now just under 25.

I went up each time I ordered a new batch, kind of thought thats what you did but finding out I should have probably done it slower 😕

@TheLette when you went back to 5 did you still lose weight?

No idea yet, I only went down to 5mg on Sunday (2 days ago). I felt like I lost too much weight on 7.5mg though so I don't mind if the weight loss is slower on 5mg.

Did you need to go up? Had suppression stopped because if it hadn’t you don’t have to raise your dose. I did it briefly. Did not work for me 7.5 just made me feel ill. I was on 5 for a long time.

No, suppression hadn't stopped, for some reason I just thought you worked your way up as thats what my husband did. I'll try go back to 5mg next time I order. I have been losing fast on 7.5 but don't think its worth the faintness and exhaustion!

@Kittensandmitten you can dial back your next dose to 5mg by counting clicks, so 40 clicks will give you a 5mg dose from a 7.5mg pen. Each pen has 60 clicks when you twist all the way to stop.

I went up to 7.5mg after about 5 months on Mounjaro and found it brutal. I constantly felt like I was sick with flu-like symptoms within the first few days of injecting but then on day 6 or 7 I would experience nausea. I took a 2 week break and am now back to 5mg but as the suppression isn’t quite the same, I’ll be seeing how I go on it and possibly changing to inject every 6 days instead of 7. My GP says that there have been reports that other people have found 7.5mg to be really challenging but it’s only anecdotal, no solid evidence to back it.
