Hair extensions falling out :(

Put this in S&B but no responses so thought I’d try here!

I have tape extensions and over the last week I must have lost at least 10. No change in shampoo/hair products and I’ve had them in for almost 2 years (not the same ones, just replaced regularly) and this has never happened before. Have I just been lucky?! Is this just something that happens? Are there alternatives out there?

I have tried them all and spent many thousands along the way. Its like giving birth, you quickly forget how miserable having extensions is and crave them again. I stopped last year. I was spending a lot of time in helicopters and on field visits in the heat and pulled them out. I am living with the damage which will take years, especially from the keratin ones. There is no easy way, they do come out, probably the hot weather this time. Sorry I can't say anything more positive but quitting extensions is up there with quitting alcohol as one of my great epiphanies of life!
